they got the best lumpia, & it's priced reasonable. Unlike these other places that priced their lumpia so expensive. I haven't tried all of their food but it's Samoan style. Definitely going to give it try one day.

Happy AAPI month! This International Market is located in the middle of a strip mall on 36th Ave. Already having two locations in East Anchorage, this location is their third (and most convenient). Walking in, the space is clean and organized. You are greeted by rows of international snacks, fresh produce, and speciality bulk items. Their employees are also welcoming and helpful. Towards the back, is a large hot foods area with a large menu. This is Mekong's money maker. The owners are of Asian descent but they have mastered the ins and outs of South Pacific Islander foods, to include the most efficient shipping carriers and being nearly multi-lingual. You could ask for something in your native tongue and most of the time they can pick-up on what you're asking for. As Samoans, (largest population of South Pacific Islanders in Alaska), we come to Mekong's when we want to eat our cultural foods but don't want to cook it ourselves. We also come to Mekong's for most bulk/catering orders. FYI Mekong's also sells a limited amount of Asian foods in their hot food section. Mekong saw a need, met it, and has continued to do so very successfully. I recommend checking them out if you're in the area...or just enjoy Polynesian food.
